Bablu Lal is the oldest resident in the shuktara homes. Although we don't know his exact date of birth he is probably in his mid-thirties.
From the very beginning when the boys moved into their home in Behala, this has been Bablu's usual place - sitting at the entrance to the house and watching the world go by!
