Sunil loves to travel and always has a bag packed – just in case. Going on the train to a different place always makes him very happy. Here he is in Puri, traveling with the girls from Lula Bari and Pappu.

Anna and the earthquake
Yesterday (April 25th) the houses shook in Kolkata. Everyone left the building and Anna decided it was time for a shower, a shave and fresh clothes. We don’t know what he thought. Today (April 26th) there have been more tremors and they left the house again.
We are talking about Kolkata. So our thoughts must be with those people so close to us in Nepal.
Lali and her sister reunited
Lali came to shuktara in 2008 after she and her sister were abandoned by their parents. Since then her sister has been in a missionary home here in Kolkata and yesterday they were reunited.

Moni goes to school!
Arvind, the driver, takes Moni and the other girls to REACH in our vehicle and they, of course, demand that the music is played loud.

Moni Mondal
Moni Mondal will go to school for the first time
On 10th September 2014 Moni came to us.
Last week she chose her full name and is now Moni Mondal and on Monday (6th April) she starts at school for the first time in her life. She will be in REACH Special Education Unit.

Rajesh chose today (March 25th) as his birthday
Rajesh came to shuktara in 2006 after he lost his parents at Howrah Station.
